Meet Dr. Armanae A. Mancha

Dr. Mancha was born in Odessa, Texas. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2003. After practicing in Texas and Arizona for 14 years, Dr. Mancha happily joined Family Eyecare of Scottsdale as a partner.

Dr. Mancha brings a passion for working with children of all ages. She is one of 60 optometrists in Arizona who examines infants from 6 months of age to 1 year at no charge. She also provides comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and manage all eye health issues, including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and ocular conditions associated with diabetes.

Dr. Mancha is also certified to perform corneal reshaping therapy/orthokeratology for patients who have progression of near-sightedness. She served as a clinical examiner for the National Optometry Board and has also been a clinical investigator for several contact lens manufacturers assisting in the development of new contact lenses.

Dr. Mancha has received many distinguished awards including:

  • Arizona Optometric Association Presidents Award
  • Listed as a “Top Optometrist in Arizona” by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals
  • Listed in “America’s Top Optometrists” by the Consumer Research Council of America

She has participated in the following professional and civic organizations:

Dr. Mancha enjoys running, biking, and world travel.


Dr Lambert Meet Dr. Megan Lambert

Dr. Lambert grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2008, she earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree at The University of California Berkeley, graduating with honors. She practiced in Massachusetts for nearly a decade before relocating to Arizona and joining Family Eyecare of Scottsdale.

Dr. Lambert loves seeing your whole family. She treats patients experiencing infections, allergies, eye emergencies, and has extensive experience treating dry eyes. In addition, she manages eye diseases and evaluates patients for cataract and LASIK surgeries.

One of Dr. Lambert’s passions is the evolving field of myopia control. She uses techniques such as orthokeratology or other specialized contact lenses to help slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children.

Dr. Lambert has participated in the following professional and civic organizations:

Dr. Lambert enjoys hiking, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with her family.
